A few photozz

Hey, Shawn here. We´ve had a great second day.

Got a few photos to add here... the weather has been mostly cloudy. It always feels like it´s going to rain at some point but that´s only because we´re from Vancouer. In Lima it NEVER rains :)

The first one is a coastal view of part of Lima

Second one is a view of the setting sun from a beach in the North of the city (at 18x zoom - I was surprised how well it turned out)

Last one is a shot of us and Ron´s Peruvian relatives.

That´s all for now. The formatting is kinda wierd but I´m still getting used to this blogger thing :P

We made it!

We finally landed in Lima last night, after a layover in Bogota, Columbia. We caught a cab right from the airport to our hostel. We´re up now and we´ll be calling Ron´s uncle so he can take us around town and help us get our bearings. This hostel is great, everything is going well so far.

Mississauga...

So our flight got delayed, and Air Canada put us up in a hotel in Mississauga....it's kind of like Burnaby, but with more Tim Hortons...it doesn't feel like we've left yet, it's so similar to Vancouver..

In any case, we will have much more exciting updates once we get to Lima tomorrow..

Here we go!

Shawn and I are leaving for Peru in 2 days. It's coming fast, and we still have a bunch of stuff to do before we leave!! Anyways, now that this blog is up, you people can check up on us at any moment. Every time I hit a net cafe i'll throw some words up. If photos become digitally available during the trip, expect them.
